Charge-Case Transfer

Use the Charge-Case Transfer page to move a patient's charges from one case to another within the same patient account. Important: The Charge Case Transfer page moves entire Dates of Service, not individual charges. You cannot move single charge lines to a different case using this page. If you need to move a single charge, use the View Charge page.

  1. Locate and open the patient's account. 
  2. Open the Charges menu and select Charge-Case Transfer.
    1. If you haven't selected a patient, you'll be asked to prior to displaying the page. 
  3. Use the From Case drop-down to select the appropriate case where charges need to be transferred from. Click Search.
  4. All dates of service associated with the case appear. Use the checkboxes to select the date(s) of service to transfer. 
  5. Use the Move To Case drop-down to select the case where you want to move the charges. 
  6. Click Save. 
  7. You'll receive a confirmation message and a popup that asks if you'd like to go to the Demand Claims page. Click OK to open the Demand Claims page where you can rebill the claims electronically or print to mail.
