    FAQ

Once SSO is set up, where do I log in?

You'll log in from the WebPT EMR login page. You'll designate which system you want to be logged into automatically when setting up the SSO (see above). If you set Billing as your primary app, you'll automatically be logged into Billing when signing in from the EMR login page.

How do I reset my password?

You can use the reset password link on the WebPT EMR login page. Alternatively, a user manager can reset your password for you.

    Do my passwords expire?

Yes, each system will require you to update your password every 90 days. You'll receive an alert when you attempt to log in that your password has expired and you'll be prompted to change it. Click here for instructions on resetting your Billing password, and click here for instructions on resetting your expired EMR password.

Why is WebPT Billing timing out?

WebPT Billing will be automatically logged out of the application after 2 hours of inactivity.

    Is SSO secure?

Absolutely! Our Single Sign-On solution is built with the same security as all WebPT Products. The SSO application has 256-bit encryption using a TLS 1.2 connection, which is encrypted using AES-256 (or higher) with SHA-256 for message authentication and RSA as the key exchange mechanism. We also encrypt and store all data with AES-512 or better. You can read more about our security protocols here.
