View Charges: Edit/Delete Charges
Let’s review how to edit or delete charges on the View Charges page.
Charges with a lock icon indicate they've already been billed and cannot be edited from this page. Any changes to the charge will need to be completed in Error Corrections.
View Charges
- Navigate to the Charges menu and select View Charges.
- If needed, search for and select a patient.
Edit a Charge
- Only charges that have not been billed will display the checkbox. Select the lines you want to edit and then click Edit Charge.
- Make your desired edits, and click Save.
Delete a Charge
- Only charges that have not been billed will display the checkbox. Select the lines you want to edit and then click Delete.
- In the dialog box, select Yes.
