Minnesota Care Tax Report

MinnesotaCare Provider Tax applies to gross receipts that health care providers receive for providing patient services in Minnesota. The Minnesota Care Tax report shows the gross totals needed to complete quarterly returns. Note: Financial data is based on the location address, financials from locations other than Minnesota will be excluded.

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu and select Minnesota Care Tax.
  2. Enter your search criteria and click Search.
    1.  The Company defaults to the company you’re currently logged into. Use the drop-down menu to select a different company, if applicable.
    2. The Practice and Location both default to All Practices. Narrow your search results by selecting a Practice and/or Location. Otherwise, you can leave these fields set to all.
    3. You must select a Start and End Date for the Deposit Date.
  3. The search results display below showing total gross receipts on the top line with payment exclusions from the Minnesota Care Tax below. Use these totals to complete documents required for the quarterly MinnesotaCare tax payments. To view a list of patient payments and provider details, click on the Payment Description.
