Add a Tertiary Insurance

While primary and secondary insurance information automatically flows into WebPT Billing from the patient's case in the WebPT EMR, tertiary insurances must be manually added in WebPT Billing. 

  1. Locate the patient's account in WebPT Billing.
  2. Click on the Cases tab. 
  3. Double-click on the case that needs the tertiary insurance added. 
  4. Click Edit Case in the lower right corner of the screen.
  5. Click the Tertiary Insurance tab at the top of the screen or scroll to the bottom of the page. 
  6. Use the magnifying glass icon to select the Insurance
  7. Complete the Group Number, Policy Number, and Subscriber Information fields.
  8. Add Authorization and Eligibility information as needed. 
  9. Click Save
