Add a Tertiary Insurance
While primary and secondary insurance information automatically flows into WebPT Billing from the patient's case in the WebPT EMR, tertiary insurances must be manually added in WebPT Billing.
- Locate the patient's account in WebPT Billing.
- Click on the Cases tab.
- Double-click on the case that needs the tertiary insurance added.
- Click Edit Case in the lower right corner of the screen.
- Click the Tertiary Insurance tab at the top of the screen or scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Use the magnifying glass icon to select the Insurance.
- Complete the Group Number, Policy Number, and Subscriber Information fields.
- Add Authorization and Eligibility information as needed.
- Click Save.
